Learn how to apply the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to projects and ideas within the social dimension of sustainability

 

Are you a student and also think that social sustainability matters? In this workshop you get to know the Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Furthermore, you learn how to apply the SDGs to projects and ideas within the social dimension of sustainability playfully. Besides that, you get the chance to exchange with other students and representatives from Helvetas. You will also get to know current ideas and projects within the social dimension of sustainability

Program

In this two hour workshop, you will get to know the Agenda 2030 and the SDGs. You learn how to apply the SDGs to projects and ideas within the social dimension of sustainability. This enables you to categorise projects and ideas within the SDGs and see what their impact on achieving the Agenda 2030 is.

The workshop will include theoretical input on the Agenda 2030 and the SDGs, but also an interactive session in groups to apply your knowledge. Current ideas and projects within the social dimension of sustainability will be presented. During and after the workshop you will have the time to network and exchange with other students and representatives from Helvetas.

PREPARATION

If you already have a social sustainability project or a social sustainability project idea, please bring it with you.

ADMISSION

This workshop is open to all students at Swiss higher education institutions and is free of charge.
