Andrea Bischof, MSc
Andrea Bischof (MSc Agronomy) is Senior Advisor for Sustainable Agriculture. In 2002, she joined her first employment in development cooperation in Bolivia. Previously, she worked as a certifier of organic production in Eastern Europe and as an organic farmer. Andrea manages and advises projects with a focus on rural economy, value chains, organic production and responsible trade. She founded the international knowledge platform “Global Organic Cotton Community”, co-founded the “Swiss Platform for Sustainable Cocoa” and represents Helvetas in the management team of the Swiss Import Promotion Programme SIPPO.
