Zenebe B. Uraguchi
Zenebe Uraguchi currently a professor of development economics at the Bern University of Applied Sciences. He is a development economist with multi-country experience (Asia, North America, Eastern Europe and Africa). He holds MA degrees in International Relations and Political Economy, as well as a PhD in Development Economics. His professional experience originates from working for the multinational private company Toyota, a stint at the international development bank ADB, and at Addis Ababa University. His areas of expertise are in the design, management and evaluation of private, public and non-profit development initiatives. He is keen in knowledge management and learning, and manages the ‘inclusive systems’ blog of Helvetas. He previously worked as a Helvetas Program Manager for a regional initiative in inclusive economic development covering 12 countries in Eastern Europe (Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine), South Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia), and Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, N. Macedonia, Serbia).
