Project Communications and Visibility Officer

Helvetas is the largest development organization in Switzerland and one of the leading international NGOs in Europe. For over 60 years, Helvetas has been contributing great efforts to reduce poverty, advance human rights, and fight for justice across the world. Every year, Helvetas bring about real change in the lives of over three million disadvantaged people in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. Helvetas has been operating in Vietnam since 1994 in the sectors of Agriculture, Forestry, Governance and Peace, Water and Sanitation, and Rural Development. Today, Helvetas Vietnam’s programs focus on Sustainable and Inclusive Economies, specific interfaces with Climate Change and Vocational Skills Development are considered and further deepened.

The ST4SD, implemented by the consortium of Helvetas Vietnam and CRED under the responsibility of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), is part of the economic development cooperation of Switzerland for Vietnam, supports the preparation of relevant policies and strengthens public-private dialogue at both national and subnational level, establish a new Swiss Executive Hospitality Training (EHT) programme at qualified Vietnamese training institutes and create a network of experts from the Swiss and Vietnamese tourism sector, and promote innovative concepts for businesses and destinations to strengthen sustainability (including the introduction of sustainability standards). In the long term, the project aims to contribute to creating new livelihoods and the sustainable economic development of Vietnam.

ST4SD project, Helvetas Office, is looking for a full-time Communications and Visibility Officer.
