BioTrade project team visited Korea to look for business opportunities
Last week, the BioTrade project team and other five phytopharmaceutical companies had an opportunity to travel to Korea to learn more about the Korean Market. The team attended the Health Ingredients Korea Trade Fair which is one of the largest and most prestigious fairs for herbal and pharmaceutical ingredients in Asia. Besides, the group also visited Gyungdong Market, the largest herbal market in Seoul as well as supermarkets, shops that sell herbal products.
Moreover, the group also had a meeting to work with the Association of Doctors of Traditional Medicine to introduce the typical herbal products of Vietnam. The BioTrade team hopes this will be the first step for Vietnamese herbal products to enter the Korean market, which will help Vietnam to join the global pharmaceutical value chain.
