Lets Go Digital - VSOMO

The introduction of VSOMO, a mobile learning platform, makes much-needed vocational training education more accessible to youth. HELVETAS, in partnership with stakeholders and public partners, ensures the platform is offering theoretical training online and aligned with the government's plan to expand the provision of VET across the country.

The promotion of online courses will attract youth to join. These courses are offered free of charge to several disadvantaged youngsters. The content created is gamified, personalized, and interactive hence more fun and interesting for students.

Through monitoring and evaluation of the platform and online courses, HELVETAS will be improving the system to catch up with the current needs of youth. The project is looking forward to reaching 50,000 youth in Dodoma and Singida, and ensuring at least 600 of them have completed the digital learning courses.
