Paddy Siyanga Knudsen
Paddy Siyanga Knudsen is a Zambian national with over 17 years of professional experience as a Development Economist. She holds a Master in Financial Economics from SOAS and BSC Development & Economics from London School of Economics. Currently based in Kosovo, her work covers development cooperation, regional integration and migration governance. Her experience includes working with civil society, academia, governments, Regional Economic Communities (RECs), bilateral development partners, EU institutions, as well as the UN system. Her experience extends to undertaking research, supporting programme formulation and implementation as well as undertaking monitoring and evaluation. In both Anglo-phone and franco-phone Africa, she has worked with IOM, UNESCO, EU, civil society, philanthropic actors, migrant and diaspora organisations in Zambia, Tanzania, China as well as on assignments covering West, East and Southern Africa. Paddy serves on various multi-stakeholder coordination mechanisms as well as boards including Vice President of the Global Research Forum on Diaspora & Transnationalism, member of the Advisory Board of the Global Diaspora Summit and International advisory board member for Public Finance by Women and co-Founder of PFM Enthuasiasts.
