Helvetas Nepal is a Swiss non-governmental organization actively contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of poor and disadvantaged people in Nepal. Helvetas Nepal invites applications from the young and committed Nepali citizens for the traineeship opportunity. Helvetas Nepal is developing “Promoting Sustainable Forest Management and Bioenergy Project” with financial support from Mitigation Action Facility (MAF). For undertaking detailed project preparation, Helvetas requests proposal from individual national experts for providing consulting services according to the terms of reference available in Helvetas’s web page through: https://www.helvetas.org/en/nepal/who-we-are/follow-us/public-announcements · National Expert - Forest governance and policy, and Coordination · National Expert – Private Sector Engagement Relevant documents of the project are available on its web page. Interested consultants shall submit the proposal in the given template along with a updated CV no later than 25 November 2023, 5 pm Nepal time to Helvetas Country Office in hardcopy or to procurement.np@helvetas.org electronically. Any proposal received after the given deadline will not be considered for evaluation. Any questions related to this call shall be submitted in writing to procurement.np@helvetas.org latest by 20th November 2023. Answers to those questions will be provided no later than 22 November 2023. Helvetas will contact the selected consultant within 15 days of the date of final submission. Telephonic enquiries are not entertained. The selected candidate shall be called for a negotiation before signing the contract with Helvetas. Helvetas Nepal reserves the right to reject any or all proposal without assigning any reasons.
