On November 20, the CGAID Project (Skills Development Benefitting Internally Displaced Youth and Youth from Hosting Communities in Nampula) held a graduation ceremony for 266 young people (120 women) from 18 technical and vocational training sessions, in Eráti district, Nampula province. From the total number of young graduates, 110 (54 women) are internally displaced people as a result of the terrorism that has affected northern Mozambique since 2017, with its epicenter in Cabo Delgado province.
The graduation ceremony, which was led by the Erati district administrator, Manuel Manussa, was attended by 44 masters-trainers, representatives of the local government, representatives of the National Employment Institute and the Alberto Cassimo Vocational Training and Labor Studies Institute (IFPELAC) of Nampula province and the Deputy Director of HELVETAS Mozambique, Maurício Negas.
