SIM! and partners outline advocacy strategy

10. April 2024

The Skills for Youth in Mozambique (SIM!) project brought together government, private sector and civil society partners in a workshop to discuss and collect input for the advocacy strategy that aims to contribute to improving the social conditions of trainees in Technical and Vocational Education and Training. The two-day event, held in Nampula, also involved public and private training institutes and centers, non-governmental organizations and civil society from Niassa province.

At the end of the workshop, the participants stated that the event contributed to the identification and prioritization of the challenges of technical and vocational education and training in Mozambique, as well as to have a better understanding of the consequences, especially for the trainees.

SIM!, funded by the Swiss Embassy in Mozambique, is the second project to hold an advocacy workshop together with partners to ensure that the impact generated during implementation is sustainable, comprehensive and in favor of the beneficiaries.
