Bai Alai programme is announcing call for international bloggers’ services
Bai Alai programme in the frame of tourism component is announcing tender for international bloggers’ services to promote Alai and Chon-Alai districts of Osh oblast, Kyrgyz Republic.
Bai Alai - Small Business and Income Creation programme in Alai and Chon-Alai is funded by the Government of Switzerland through Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency and implemented by Helvetas Kyrgyzstan in consortium with Aga Khan Foundation. The main goal of the programme is to reduce poverty in aforementioned districts by increasing economic inclusion of producing households in cattle, apiculture, tourism and handicraft sectors. The task.
In the frame of this short-term project, 2 separate international bloggers will be contracted to visit Alai and Chon-Alai – two remote and mountainous districts of Osh oblast, Kyrgyz Republic to test and review new and existing tour products during 10-days period as per the terms of references and the programme (to be provided after shortlist); and, publish blog posts about tested products on their webpages in order to promote the project region as a tourist destination.
Interested parties are required to fill out and submit following documents 8.00am 11th of June, 2019 to Imanaly.Turkbaev@helvetas.org and kyrgyzstan@helvetas.org:
- Filled out, electronic versions of technical and financial offers
- Basic Google Analytics report for the last 12 months
- Electronic copy of passport
Selection.
International bloggers will be selected based on following criteria:
- Size of audience (# of visitors, # unique visitors, profile of visitors of your blog)
- Conversion rate
- Feedback from previous clients
Shortlisted/selected applicants will be contacted within until 7th of June, 2019 for the next stage of selection process.
Alai and Chon-Alai districts are located in the Pamir-Alay mountains, in the south of Kyrgyz Republic. It is a mountainous area with high altitude. The region is an emerging and virgin adventure destination in Central Asia, and shares borders with China on the east, Tajikistan on the south-western side. The region is close to Osh city – the second largest city in the Kyrgyz Republic and to Uzbekistan. For more information about the region please, check Visit Alay's webpage.
