In honor of the World Youth Day on November 9 and 10 the largest youth [NON] conference JashtarCamp 2019 was held throughout the whole Kyrgyzstan.
JashtarCamp is an annual informal youth [NOT] conference, an open platform for the exchange of opinions held in an interactive format.
This year the event was dedicated to "Digital Generation. Professions of the XXI Century" topic, and was held under the slogan "Find yourself in the digital future." The main focus was new technologies, innovations, digitalization and the 21st century’s professions. The program of the event included panel discussions on areas of activity, an avenue of professions, an internship and courses, flash mobs, as well as workshops on robotics.
The speakers were specialists in the field of IT technologies and robotics, Internet marketing and new media, animation and design, journalists and media experts, representatives of business and the banking sector, as well as representatives of government agencies and public figures. Among statesmen in Osh, Jalal-Abad and Kyzyl-Kie, Elvira Surabaldieva, a deputy of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic, Nursultan Kubanov, an adviser to the Ministry of Education and Science and the chairman of the Youth Congress, took part.
In addition, this year, speakers from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan were specially invited for the event. The flexible format of the event allowed everyone to attend a variety of presentations and chat with experts. During breaks between performances, participants were also able to get to know experts better, communicate and exchange contacts. There have also been various contests with the presentation of prizes.
The event was organized with the support of Youth United for the Future (YOU) project, funded and implemented by Helvetas Kyrgyzstan.
